What is a heat pump?
Neopower’s solar power split systems are planned to deliver you the greatest adaptability of installation areas. Split system hot water heaters have a tank on the ground and the collectors on the roof.
A split system requires a pump to move heated water from the collectors. The electric or gas booster can indeed be introduced into your household. This limits the visual effect of getting solar power while boosting the potential savings from sunshine.
Neopower flat panel solar hot water systems are highly efficient and built to last.
Two different options in terms of flat panel sizing offers flexibility with installation.
Backed by the most advanced solar controller in the industry, our flat panel systems offer full transparency in terms of system performance and easy diagnostics for plumbers.
Neopower flat panel systems are available in gas and electric boost and a comprehensive range of sizes to suit all applications. Neopower gas boosters are highly efficient, reliable and robust. Combined with the best valves, fittings and ancillary components available; Neopower flat panel solar hot water systems ensure a positive user experience and a real return on investment.
What is a hot water heat pump?
Introduction to Heat Pump Hot Water Systems
A hot water heat pump system uses electricity to move heat from the air to heat water.
Extracting Heat from Air
Heat is extracted from the outside air to warm the water in the tank.
Key Components: Compressor and Heat Exchanger
A compressor and heat exchanger works with a refrigerant to transfer heat.
How the System Works
The compressor pressurizes the refrigerant, which absorbs heat from the air and transfers it to the water.
Energy Efficiency Benefits
Heat pump systems are more energy-efficient than traditional electric water heaters, leading to lower energy bills and a smaller carbon footprint.

Is Heat Pump Hot Water Worth It?
Uses up to 60% less electricity compared to traditional water heaters
Extracts heat from the air for environmentally friendly heating
Higher initial cost but significant long-term energy savings
Eligible for government incentives and rebates
Reduces greenhouse gas emissions
Lowers your carbon footprint for a sustainable future
Efficient in various climates, including colder regions
Longer lifespan than conventional water heaters
HOW HEAT PUMPS HOT WATER SYSTEM WORKS
1
A fan pulls in ambient air, allowing refrigerant to absorb heat and become gas.
2
The compressor increases the refrigerant’s temperature and pressure; heat transfers to water in the storage tank.
3
The refrigerant releases its heat to the water in the condenser, cools back to liquid form, and the cycle repeats for continuous water heating.

OUR REVIEWS
We are positioned as a true market leader
I was looking for solar hot water system in the last few months, and have compared many brands. I have found evacuated tube solar collector is better than the flat panels. There are few companies can supply evacuated tube solar hot water with 15 years warranty. Compare with others, I have found Neopower solar hot water staff are very kind and willing to explain to me everything and not push for sales. And their price is $400-500 cheaper than similar quality systems. After installation, I have seen a big difference on my power bill. It is really a good investment for me. I am very happy to recommend it to all my friends.
Good quality product, excellent services
So far so good the power consumption in the the 1st week is unbelievable, we have gone from using 30 to 40 kwhs a day to under 10 . We have hot water all year round with the gas assist we never have to worry about running out. It actually looks better on the roof than most and the price was much better. anytime I needed to know anything from Neopower themselves they have been ever so helpful and the guys we bought and had it fitted by very helpful and nice. With victorias extra $1000 it was a no brainer. Extremely happy customers here.

This electric solar hot water system has been in use for just over a year. Since that time we have used our booster for around one month during a real cold spell in winter. It has saved us a fortune (we had a gas hot water heater before). One regret is that we did not install it earlier.
I recently replaced my old gas hot water system with a Neopower flat panel gas boosted solar system. Neopower were very professional from quoting through to installation. Matthew the installer was very thorough, helpful and informative. So far the performance is excellent. We don't notice it is there and we have plenty of environmentally friendly hot water. I have no hesitation recommending Neopower.
I purchased my Neopower unit about October 2020. My gas consumption has crashed. I estimate I will pay for the unit in 2 years based on gas savings, probably sooner. Dispatch of goods was prompt and arrived 2,500k away in perfect order apart from 2 broken tubes. However spare tubes had been sent with the original order so no drama. The unit has worked perfectly. Rain hail and shine. On the South Coast we get it all. This unit is a unit for all weather, all seasons. I've had several different makes over the last 35 years. No more. Neopower only from now on.
Purchased in October 2020.

Tips for Maintaining Your Electric Heat Pump Hot Water System
Filter Cleaning
Cleaning the Evaporator Fins: To maintain optimal performance, clean the evaporator fins annually with a soft brush. This ensures proper airflow and system efficiency.
Pipe Inspection
Check for Leaks: Regularly inspect all pipes and connections for any signs of leaks or water damage, and keep the condensate drain clear to maintain system efficiency.
Water Temperature
Water Temperature: Set the water temperature between 50°C and 60°C to balance comfort and energy efficiency, and ensure the PTR valve is functioning properly.
System Maintenance
Drain, Flush, and Anode Replacement: Perform a major maintenance task every five years by draining and flushing the system and inspecting the sacrificial anode.
Professional Maintenance
Professional Maintenance: Replace all safety valves every five years, and consider more frequent maintenance if your water supply has high TDS levels.
